It all started when Covid 19 hit. Boy did that take a bite out of life! I lost my job, I was sick for months and couldn’t even smell anything for weeks after it finally cleared up. Then the depression came and man was I at the end of my rope.

I was on the verge of just giving up and curling into a little ball and disappearing when I stumbled on a Youtube Channel called ColorbyFeliks. He probably saved my life. He was an artist , but more importantly he was a patient, giving human being who posted hours and hours of painting tutorials. I bought a cheap box of acrylic paints and some brushes at Walmart and some little canvas boards and went ahead and started to paint along with Feliks. Much to my utter astonishment when I was finished I HAD PAINTED an actual painting and it looked really pretty good. You could see a stream, and trees and perspective and sunlight…I saw sunlight! I felt sunlight. Suddenly I was no long depressed, I was an aspiring artist. We all are artists. We all have this need to create, to achieve to grow and to live life to the fullest.

Now its a few years later and I have painted and painted and painted some more and to my complete surprise people give me money for my art and I am a full time artist. I sell at festivals , I sell online and I am going to be hopefully launching a youtube channel of my own to share the knowledge that so many talented beautiful people have shared with me. ( IF I can possibly get over my horror of seeing myself on screen)

ONE more thing…. the incredible people in my life who never gave up on me…My handsome ever patient husband David Frost who has been my number one patron and My sister Erica Sauve ( The Mosaic Mermaid ) who absolutely is my rock and my best friend and my conspirator ( lol ) and my daughter Sara Gorman who has been a fellow artist a therapist and my guru during all my doubts and fears…and my son Gabe Frost who said…Hey you know what you are pretty dang good at that mom ..This website is to honor all of you. I love you.
